Blendshape rig test for Black Ops: Cold War. Solve by Cubic Motion


Shape fitting solve R&D developed with Activision Central Tech


A vid I had laying around of me showing animators how some of the rig controls work with each other.

Every animator who touched this rig fell in love.


Cubic Motion solve results from a few random blendshape rig examples. Around 250 shapes. I had to make 20 of these in 6 months as well as multiplayer operators (these are just Maya viewport playblasts)


Tier 3 rig, only around 90 shapes


Frequency Separation tool I made for Substance that allows for easier clone stamping out features without messing up the large forms too much. Used for quick dirty changes requested by legal at last minute. Kept us from needing to go all the way back to Zbrush and rebaking everything (The jacket was made by someone else. This is me just showing others how the new tool works)
